Was ist Bildungsurlaub?
Hinter dem Begriff "Bildungsurlaub" verbirgt sich das 1976 von der Bundesregierung verabschiedete Recht auf bezahlte Bildungsfreistellung. Damit hat sich die Bundesregierung verpflichtet, dafür zu sorgen, dass jede Arbeitnehmerin und jeder Arbeitnehmer eine bestimmte Anzahl an bezahlten Arbeitstagen im Jahr für seine individuelle Fort- und Weiterbildung vom Arbeitgeber freigestellt wird. Jedes Bundesland hat sein eigenes Gesetz.

Our programmes for German men and women are recognized by the provincial governments, and we offer both General English (3 levels) and Business English.
The programmes are two weeks long , with 30 lessons x 45 minutes each week.
Fees are 600 euros for General English and 800 euros for Business English. Accommodation is additional and can be arranged with Gastfamilien or in Hotels.
General English
The precise content of the programme varies according to the level.
- Preparation
- OISC will provide detailed proposals for each individual on receipt of their application. A needs analysis will be sent to them
- Objectives
- The course is aimed at professional men and women who wish to develop their language skills further for their work.
- Methodology
- The course will include:
- developing command of written and spoken English in the context of the workplace.
- grammar clinics
- extending vocabulary and pronunciation
- developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
- using resources and , media (e.g. video, newspapers, computers, the internet
- Follow-up
Business English
- Preparation

- Financial reporting
- Operations management
- Marketing, culture and society
- Writing management reports
- Intercultural communications
- Business communications ...email, phone, fax
- Legal communications in business
- Meetings
- Presentations
- Negotiations

- developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
- using resources and , media (e.g. video, newspapers, computers, the internet
- Follow-up
- At the end of the course the participant will have:
- improved their language skills
- received a feedback questionnaire
- set up email links with their tutors for advice
